Where sellers work

• My Account → Custom Offers: the seller dashboard with incoming requests, sent offers, drafts, and statuses. Works with or without a messaging plugin.
• Better Messages chat (optional): a Create Offer button in the message composer opens the offer builder right in the conversation; sent offers appear as live cards.
• Dokan vendor dashboard (optional): a Custom Offers tab can be enabled in settings.

Handling requests

New requests appear as Pending. Opening one marks it Viewed. From there the seller either:

• Reviews and sends an offer: the offer builder opens prefilled from the request; the request moves to Offer Sent and closes automatically when the offer is purchased; or
• Rejects the request (the customer is notified).

Requests not acted on expire automatically after a configurable number of days (default 14).

The offer builder

The offer builder popup contains:

• Product: search and attach one of your published products (its details are snapshotted at send time).
• Title & description: what exactly you’ll deliver.
• Feature list: a repeater of included items (“2 revisions”, “Source files”…).
• Price: your offer price. The live price summary is a preview; the server recomputes all totals authoritatively at save, send, and checkout.
• Quantity (if enabled in settings): offer more than one unit.
• Shipping fee (if enabled, for physical products): a flat fee charged at checkout, taxable per settings.
• Expiration: presets (default configurable, e.g. 7 days) or a custom date.

Offers can be saved as drafts (with autosave while typing) and edited later. Unsent drafts are cleaned up automatically after a configurable number of days. A pending offer can be withdrawn by the seller at any time before acceptance; both withdraw and customer decline end the offer as Cancelled, and the cards/notifications name who did it.

Who can create offers? Administrators, shop managers, anyone who can publish products, and active marketplace sellers (e.g. enabled Dokan vendors). Developers can widen or restrict this with the wcoffers_offer_creator_roles and wcoffers_user_can_create_offers filters.
